Imhotep’s Legacy Academy (ILA) is an effective and successful province-wide, STEM-outreach organization, established in 2003. Based at Dalhousie University, ILA is built on a strong university-community partnership. Using unique hands-on programs, ILA aims to redress the under-representation of African Canadians in post-secondary STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) studies and careers.
